Karnataka Elections 2018: Will It Be In Favor of BJP?

One of the largest states to poll this year is Karnataka in our country. There are many interesting aspects about this election this year. After Uttar Pradesh elections, Karnataka elections are certainly very important for both the national parties.
Karnataka being a very large state is currently ruled by congress party with Mr. Siddaramaiah as the Chief Minister. It is important for the Congress to win in these coming elections as a loss will have a huge impact on the party.
The BJP is focusing on congress mukth Bharath (Congress-free India). It would the most crucial challenge for the BJP to win in these elections as Karnataka is a gateway for them in the south.

Caste system plays a very crucial role in politics and Karnataka is no exception to it. All the parties have their own caste equation in Karnataka and have strong backing by castes.

There are two factors which will decide the winning of a party in Karnataka: First, JD(S): The Janata dal secular party is emerging as one of the strongest party in Karnataka. They can give a tough competition to the Congress as they are very strong in old Mysore. The JDS may not align with Congress as it will impact Vokaliga vote share in the upcoming elections. Devagowda is not in favor of aligning with congress and Kumaraswami is not in favor of aligning with BJP. However JDS may align with BJP.

Samsung rolls out 'Made in India' privacy app for Galaxy A71, Galaxy A51

  Smartphone maker  Samsung  on Monday said it has rolled out privacy app AltZLife developed at its India R&D centre on select handsets in the country. The app allows users of the Galaxy A71 and Galaxy A51  smartphones  to quickly switch to privacy mode from normal mode by double-clicking the power button and also automatically save images and videos in private folders based on the usage pattern. "The AltZLife feature will be available to the existing as well as new users of Galaxy A71 and Galaxy A51 through a software update on August 10, 2020,"  Samsung  said in a statement. Truecaller version 12 with new features for Android users launched

  Swedish caller identification app  Truecaller  on Thursday rolled out its latest version 12 with a new Video Caller ID feature addition, call recording for free users, and a redesigned user interface (UI). A total of five features have been announced as part of the  Truecaller  Version 12 update. " Truecaller  is a vital part of communication for over 22 crore Indians, for both their professional and personal needs.
