Shahid reveals why team 'Arjun Reddy' is now complete

Business Standard: It's confirmed! Bollywood actor Kiara Advani is all set to star opposite Shahid Kapoor in the Hindi remake of Telugu blockbuster 'Arjun Reddy'. Advani who was recently seen in Netflix's 'Lust Stories' will essay the role of Preeti.

Shahid confirmed the same on Twitter, 'welcoming her to the madness.'

"Welcome to the madness @Advani_Kiara aka Preeti. Team Arjun Reddy is now officially complete. Let's do this," wrote the 'Udta Punjab' star.

The original blockbuster starred Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey in lead roles.
The story revolved around Arjun Reddy, a successful young medical surgeon, who sets out on the path of self-destruction when his lady-love is forced to marry another man.

The flick which went on floors in August will hit the theatres on June 21 next year.

Shahid was last seen in comedy-drama 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' which did not have an impressive start at the box office on its first weekend. Set in Uttarakhand, the film deals with the issues of electricity theft and inflated electricity bills. BS

Samsung rolls out 'Made in India' privacy app for Galaxy A71, Galaxy A51

  Smartphone maker  Samsung  on Monday said it has rolled out privacy app AltZLife developed at its India R&D centre on select handsets in the country. The app allows users of the Galaxy A71 and Galaxy A51  smartphones  to quickly switch to privacy mode from normal mode by double-clicking the power button and also automatically save images and videos in private folders based on the usage pattern. "The AltZLife feature will be available to the existing as well as new users of Galaxy A71 and Galaxy A51 through a software update on August 10, 2020,"  Samsung  said in a statement.   Swedish caller identification app  Truecaller  on Thursday rolled out its latest version 12 with a new Video Caller ID feature addition, call recording for free users, and a redesigned user interface (UI). A total of five features have been announced as part of the  Truecaller  Version 12 update.
