Varun Dhawan unveils his 'Kalank' look

Actor Varun Dhawan on Thursday unveiled the first official look of his character Zafar from upcoming period drama "Kalank".

"It's been a hell of a journey playing this gem of a character. So guys, meet Zafar," he tweeted along with a poster of the film in which he can be seen in intense look, having smudged kohl eyes, pierced ears and long tresses.

Even other stars of the film including Madhuri Dixit Nene, Alia Bhatt and Sonakshi Sinha introduced Varun's character.

Alia described Varun's character as "fearless in love, fearless for love". Sonakshi called Zafar "the flamboyant hero of our larger-than-life world".

Sharing a glimpse of Zafar, filmmaker Karan Johar said that Zafar "flirts with life and danger".
Earlier, Karan posted an emotional post about the film saying "Kalank" was very close to his heart as it was the last film on which his father, the late Yash Johar, worked on.

"A film that was born in my heart and mind 15 years ago... A film I passionately believe in... the last film my father worked on before he left us. It was his dream to see this film come through.

Samsung rolls out 'Made in India' privacy app for Galaxy A71, Galaxy A51

  Smartphone maker  Samsung  on Monday said it has rolled out privacy app AltZLife developed at its India R&D centre on select handsets in the country. The app allows users of the Galaxy A71 and Galaxy A51  smartphones  to quickly switch to privacy mode from normal mode by double-clicking the power button and also automatically save images and videos in private folders based on the usage pattern. "The AltZLife feature will be available to the existing as well as new users of Galaxy A71 and Galaxy A51 through a software update on August 10, 2020,"  Samsung  said in a statement. Truecaller version 12 with new features for Android users launched

  Swedish caller identification app  Truecaller  on Thursday rolled out its latest version 12 with a new Video Caller ID feature addition, call recording for free users, and a redesigned user interface (UI). A total of five features have been announced as part of the  Truecaller  Version 12 update. " Truecaller  is a vital part of communication for over 22 crore Indians, for both their professional and personal needs.
