Samsung which transported 74.4 million gadgets in the quarter, drove the cell phone showcase (by volume) with a piece of the pie of 21 for each penny for the whole year.
"Apple shipments declined one for each penny every year, notwithstanding, the organization turned into the main cell phone mark amid the quarter. Apple stayed number two in CY 2017, catching 14 for every penny piece of the overall industry," statistical surveying firm Counterpoint Research said.
The worldwide cell phone shipments grew two for every penny yearly in 2017 yet declined five for every penny in the final quarter.
