Indian skipper  Virat Kohli   said he is ready to act in his biopic but wants his wife  Anushka Sharma   to act alongside him in the movie. With Holi -the festival of colours coming up -- everyone is busy buying colours, 'pichkaris', and balloons but with increasing environment pollution and severe allergic reactions to synthetic colours, there is a growing awareness among people to opt for organic variants. "In an approximately Rs 4,500-crore unorganised Holi colour market, the share of the organic variety is miniscule, but growing," said Madhumita Puri, Founder and Executive Director of Avacayam Naturals, a Delhi-based manufacturer of organic colours. The adverse effects of synthetic colours was observed in a study titled 'The Holi Dermatoses', published in the Indian Journal of Dermatology. The girl was allegedly raped by the accused at her residence, when her parents were away, they added. Initially, the police were informed that the girl was raped at her uncle's residence, but later, it was learnt that she was raped at her residence. "The sky will remain partly cloudy with the possibility of rains or thundershowers along with strong gusty winds," a scientist at India Meteorological Department (IMD) said. Major fire broke out in a hospital in east Delhi early on Thursday morning, an official of Fire Services said. The official said they received a call around 2:40 a.m. and 20 fire tenders were pressed into service to extinguish the fire at the Dharamshila Narayana Superspeciality Hospital in Vasundhara Enclave. Another official, however, said that the fire did not break out inside the hospital but behind a building in an open space. He said flames were extinguished at 5:30 a.m. and no injuries were reported. He added that main building of the hospital was safe.

A 12-year-old mentally challenged girl was allegedly raped by her neighbour in outer Delhi's Rohini, police said today. The accused also made a video of the act and circulated it, they said. The man who raped her was arrested and two others who shot the video have been detained. The accused took the girl along with him to his house where he called the two others for shooting the video, they added. They threatened the girl with dire consequences if she reported the matter. On Saturday, her mother received the video of the alleged act and informed the police. The video was also circulated to others, they added.

With Delhi 's air quality has improved to "very poor", a Supreme Court-appointed environment body on Thursday ordered lifting of a ban on entry of trucks and on construction activities in the city. The Environment Pollution Control Authority (EPCA) also rolled back the four-time hike in parking fees. EPCA member and Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) researcher Usman Naseem told IANS while the restrictions imposed since last week have been lifted, the ban on diesel generator sets would continue. The worsening air quality in the National Capital Region (NCR) has spawned panic-stricken reactions, with the Delhi government reaching out to neighbouring states and considering restrictions on plying of vehicles in the city and shutting down schools. Delhi’s air quality index has breached the ‘severe’ category with particulate matter (PM 2.5) crossing 450 microgram per cubic metre level. After the Delhi government decided to shut down schools, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal wrote to his counterparts in Punjab and Haryana seeking their cooperation in tackling air pollution. “ One of the main reasons for this poor quality of air in Delhi during this part of the year is the burning of (crop) stubble in the neighbouring states of Punjab and Haryana. Farmers are helpless in the absence of economically viable alternatives; they are forced to burn stubble.
