The International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2017, to be inaugurated by superstar Shah Rukh Khan here on Monday, will have Salman Khan as the guest at the closing ceremony on November 28. Salman will be joined by a special guest, child artist Matin Rey Tangu, who made his debut in Kabir Khan and Salman's movie "Tubelight", read a statement from the festival organisers. According to the statement, "something special" has been planned for Salman as he will take to the stage for a fun interaction, closing the prestigious film festival with a bang. The 140-character limit that has been around since 2006 and became part of Twitter's personality on Wednesday paved the way for a new 280-character limit that is now available virtually for all users -- including for those who tweet in Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Marathi and Tamil. In September, Twitter launched a test with a select group of users that expanded the 140-character limit so that they could express themselves easily in a tweet. After taking his Da-Bangg tour to international destinations like London, Hong Kong, Melbourne and Auckland, superstar Salman Khan is all set to bring it to the national capital. A three-year-old was allegedly raped by her neighbour in central  Delhi  following her abduction, police said on Thursday. The victim is in a critical state. The accused, Vijay, 22, a daily wage labourer, whas arrested hours after committing the crime in Anand Parbat on Wednesday, the police said. An officer told IANS that he whisked the child away while she was playing and took her to his home on Wednesday morning. The incident came to light when her parents, also daily wagers, started searching for their child. They were told by the neighbours that she was last seen with Vijay. "When the parents reached Vijay's house, also in the same neighbourhood, they found the girl bleeding profusely and in an unconscious state," the officer said. "She was immediately taken to Lady Hardinge Hospital, where she was operated twice on Wednesday." Her condition was "still critical as bleeding hasn't stopped yet", the officer added. The accused w...
