Business Standard : Loneliness, as a leading cause of depression and obesity, is believed to cost £6,000 per person in health and social care services . Loneliness is especially prevalent during the winter holidays, perhaps intensified by the short days, bad weather and the impression that everyone else is enjoying the festive season with family and friends. While loneliness is experienced by all ages, it is especially pronounced in older people. In the UK, 51% of all people aged 75 and over live alone and approximately 6% of older adults leave their house once a week or less. An increasing proportion of these older adults live in rural areas. People have to wait to see my wedding: Alia Bhatt

Business Standard : Actress Alia Bhatt has made it clear that her well-wishers have to wait to see her marriage happening whenever it does. There were reports that Alia is going to tie knot with actor Ranbir Kapoor in 2019 but the actress says that people have to wait. "If people are waiting for my wedding then, they have to wait for it. I think climax should be good and there should be a happy ending to it," she said while interacting with media at Lux Golden Rose Awards 2018 on Sunday, here. Alia and Ranbir sort of made their relationship official when both of them walked together hand-in-hand at Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja's wedding reception earlier this year. 'Brahmastra' to release on Christmas 2019

Business Standard : Brahmastra, the first part of Ayan Mukerji's fantasy trilogy, will now hit big screens on Christmas 2019. Starring legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan , Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, the film was earlier slated to release in August next year. Filmmaker Karan Johar, who is producing the project under his Dharma Productions, took to social media to make the announcement. "PART 1!!!! # BRAHMASTRA #CHRISTMAS2019 @ DharmaMovies written and directed by AYAN MUKERJI," read his tweet. While Ranbir has previously worked with Ayan Mukerji in films such as 'Wake Up Sid' and 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani', Alia and Ayan are first time working together on any film. 'Brahmastra' also marks Alia and Ranbir's first collaboration. Meanwhile, 'Gold' star Mouni Roy and Tollywood actor Nagarjuna will also be part of the upcoming superhero fantasy. BS

'Kick 2' to hit screens on Christmas 2019

The makers of upcoming film "Kick 2" starring superstar Salman Khan have locked Christmas 2019 for the release. The official account of the production company Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment on Wednesday announced the release date of the second installment of the "Kick" franchise on Twitter. "The wait is over! Devil is back! Sajid Nadiadwala's 'Kick 2' starring Salman Khan releases Christmas 2019," the tweet read. Other details of the film is still under wraps. "Kick", which starred Salman, Randeep Hooda, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Jacqueline Fenandez released in 2014. It was directed by Sajid Nadiadwala. The movie was an official remake of the 2009 Telugu movie "Kick" and Tamil movie "Thillalangadi".
